I am a certified educator with over 15 years of professional teaching experience and two master's degrees: one in Upper Elementary Montessori Education from Oklahoma City University and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) with a concentration in Special Education from Oklahoma State University. My Oklahoma teaching certifications include Elementary Education (Grades 1–8), Elementary Special Education (Grades 1–8), and Mild/Moderate Disabilities (Pre-K–12).

My teaching experience spans Pre-K through 12th grade in public, private, charter, and homeschool/co-op settings, including both in-person and online instruction. I have also provided individualized instruction to adult learners, particularly in music. My experience includes reading, writing, mathematics, grammar, phonics, study skills, executive functioning, handwriting, and music instruction. I am also a Certified Learning Without Tears Handwriting Specialist and hold certifications in Precision Nutrition, along with a C.I.D. (Certified Interior Design) Interior Decorators License.

I believe effective teaching begins with understanding the individual learner. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I focus on identifying strengths, recognizing areas that need additional support, and developing appropriate instructional strategies. Whether helping a young child build foundational skills, supporting a teenager through academic challenges, or teaching an adult something new, my goal is to provide patient, engaging instruction that strengthens understanding, builds confidence, and encourages lasting independence.
