My name is Haley, and I recently graduated from Rogers State University with a degree in history. I’ve spent the last five years working in both public and private school settings, supporting students as a teacher assistant. Most recently, I worked at a private school in Tulsa, where I provided academic support to students from elementary through high school. My experience has given me a deep understanding of how to work with a variety of learners, and it has fueled my passion for education—especially in the areas of history, social studies, reading, and writing.
In my roles, I’ve worked one-on-one with students who need extra help, helped lead classroom activities, and developed strategies to support students with learning differences or those who just needed a little more encouragement. My approach is warm and patient, and I always work to meet students where they are. I believe that confidence and understanding go hand in hand, and I make it my mission to help students feel both.
With my background in history and my years in the classroom, I’m confident in my ability to help students succeed. I also bring strong communication skills, a love for learning, and a genuine desire to help every student feel capable and supported. I’m excited to bring this experience to tutoring and to help students reach their full potential.
