What a year 2020 has been... the year that education went to virtual learning! I retired from teaching after 29 years in education and started a pet sitting business. Along the way I have also done some tutoring and really miss teaching. I would really like to help students who may be struggling due to strict guidelines of distance learning.
I have an Education degree from Oklahoma University. I taught Psychology and Sociology at the high school level, but spent several summers as an instructor for elementary students. Most of my tutoring jobs have been with students at the elementary age group and find it so fulfilling to watch them blossom and advance in their learning endeavors.
Helping my nephews and great nieces and nephews with their homework gives me satisfaction and I love helping them learn.
As much as I love my furry friends whom I pet sit for, I also miss working with students.
