Science courses can be awful; both students and teachers know that. I am a tutor who understands the struggles associated with both lower and higher level science courses because I faced them too! I am the previous head science tutor of the University of Central Oklahoma and during my several years of tutoring experience I have learned that most students don't lack intelligence or determination, they lack confidence. Together, you and I can master the skills associated with biology and chemistry courses and gain the confidence it takes to thrive in the classroom.
Certain scientific disciplines, namely chemistry, did not come easily to me; I struggled for years to simply get by in chemistry-related courses. However, after a lot of hard work and determination, I not only gained a deep understanding of the science but also a deep love and appreciate for several fields of chemistry. My biggest joy is helping other students avoid the doubt and worry a lot of chemistry courses can bring.
Throughout my seven years of teaching higher education science courses, I not only took in university-level clients for one-on-one tutoring sessions but also instructed my fellow science tutors on ways to better help their clients. I will be happy to do the same for you, whether it's general biology and chemistry or more advanced subjects such as organic chemistry or biochemistry.
