I am a physician and surgical resident with a strong academic record, including USMLE scores of 250 (Step 1), 253 (Step 2 CK), and 228 (Step 3), along with consistently above-average ABSITE performance. I have extensive experience teaching medical students and junior residents through one-on-one tutoring, small-group sessions, bedside teaching, and board preparation.

My expertise includes anatomy, physiology, pathology, surgery, clinical reasoning, and USMLE/Shelf exam preparation. I regularly help students prepare for Step 1, Step 2 CK, surgery clerkships, and foundational science courses using visual aids, clinical scenarios, and structured frameworks.

I tailor my teaching to each student's learning style, focusing on identifying knowledge gaps, strengthening critical thinking, and building confidence. My goal is to help students improve academic performance while developing skills for long-term success in medicine.

Anatomy

Anatomy

Surgical resident with more than 1000 operative case. 4 years of medical student teaching.
Biology

Biology

As a physician and current Interventional Radiology resident, I have an extensive academic and clinical foundation in biology, including cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, physiology, anatomy, biochemistry, and human disease. Before entering Interventional Radiology, I completed three years of General Surgery residency, giving me substantial clinical experience applying biological and physiological principles to real patient care. I also spent three years conducting research at Mayo Clinic, where I gained experience applying scientific concepts to biomedical research and contributed to peer-reviewed publications. My academic background includes USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 scores above 250, reflecting a strong command of the biological and basic sciences underlying medicine. As a tutor, I focus on understanding rather than memorization. I break complex biological processes into logical, manageable concepts and use clinical and real-world examples to help students understand why biological mechanisms work the way they do. I can assist students with high school and college biology, pre-med coursework, and biology preparation for standardized exams.
USMLE

USMLE

I am a physician with a strong track record of success on the USMLE examinations, scoring 250+ on both Step 1 and Step 2 CK and 228 on Step 3. Throughout residency, I consistently performed at the highest level on in-training examinations, scoring above the 98th percentile nationally. I help students master high-yield concepts, strengthen clinical reasoning, and develop effective test-taking strategies by focusing on understanding rather than memorization. My goal is to provide personalized, efficient tutoring that improves confidence, knowledge retention, and exam performance.
