Hello! I am Julia C., a tutor for high-school and college-level subjects. I can do AP exam prep, ACT prep, SAT/PSAT prep, or any type of homework help / general tutoring if you're struggling in a class.

I graduated from the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics (OSSM) in 2025, a 2-year boarding school where I took college-level mathematics, science, literature, and history classes. During both years at OSSM, I was a Peer-Assisted Learning Support Tutor and walked my classmates through extra chemistry, calculus, and trigonometry practice.

I'm currently enrolled in the University of Oklahoma and studying to be a mathematics teacher.

My ACT score was 35, and I was a National Merit Semifinalist.

Throughout high school, I took 15 AP exams:
Calculus BC, Statistics
Chemistry, Biology, Physics C: Mechanics, Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism
Computer Science Principles, Computer Science A
Macroeconomics, Microeconomics
World History, European History, U. S. History
English Literature, English Language

I received a score of 5 on all but three exams.
I scored 4 on both of the Physics C exams. (I promise I know physics.)
Also, I scored a 5 on English Literature and a 4 on English Language. (I was tired on the day I took English Language.)

While I've scored well on standardized tests, my passion is for deeply understanding and appreciating various subjects and sharing the joy of learning with others. I want to show students how to go beyond preparing for a test. The most important part of tutoring is to develop the problem-solving skills and learning strategies to help you succeed in future endeavors. Cheers!
