Taking the DAT twice and completing two intensive 6-month courses to prepare for the test has prepared me to teach others along with my exceptional education from Austin College. I am hoping to get accepted into dental school soon. I love tutoring math and chemistry and I am currently on year 4 of tutoring. I have experience tutoring ages 5-16, one-on-one. I have taught students lots of new concepts. One method I prefer is to teach or work through problems and then give the student the opportunity to master the same concept. Repetition and practice is key to mastering a concept. I encourage the student to then teach me the concept. If you can teach it then you know it! My academic background has allowed me to master many subjects that I feel confident teaching such as biology, chemistry, and math.
