I was a paraprofessional for OKCPS for 8 years before I became a teacher. I have worked with grades Kindergarten-6th grade. I have obtained 2 associate degrees and one bachelors degree. I tutor them in letter recognition and letter sounds, students who are English Language Learners, focusing on helping children learn how blend their letters together to make sounds which will help them learn how to read. Letters make sounds, sounds make words and learning words helps build reading stamina. I love helping students with their writing. I have written many papers and have received all straight A's with them. I have helped people prepare speeches for public speaking. I love early childhood the best. I am eager to help children with their education and see them flourish into the amazing readers and writers they are meant to be and build their confidence within themselves as well.
