I’m a 4.0 Neuroscience graduate with a strong foundation in genetics, molecular biology, and organic chemistry, and a genuine interest in helping students understand complex scientific concepts. During my undergraduate studies, I served as a Teaching Assistant for genetics and molecular biology for five semesters, where I led review sessions, answered student questions, and worked closely with students who were struggling to keep up. That experience taught me how to explain difficult material in multiple ways and adapt quickly to different learning styles.

In addition to my formal teaching experience, I’ve worked as a private tutor for high school and college students, including many on the pre-med track. I focus on helping students move beyond memorization by breaking down concepts into clear, intuitive explanations and reinforcing them through practice problems and active recall. Whether it’s working through organic chemistry mechanisms or clarifying genetics pathways, I aim to identify exactly where a student is getting stuck and build their understanding from there.
My goal is not just to help students get through a class, but to help them feel confident in the material and capable of approaching new problems independently. I particularly enjoy working with students who feel stuck or overwhelmed and want a more structured, effective approach to improving their performance.
