From the moment I taught my very first elementary lesson, I knew helping young learners find confidence in reading and writing was my calling. Over the years, I’ve taught hundreds of students—from early readers to upper-elementary writers—each with their own spark, strengths, and challenges. My specialty has always been taking a child who feels “stuck” or overwhelmed and helping them finally feel proud of themselves.

I spent over 15 years in education, teaching elementary reading, writing, spelling, and vocabulary in both traditional classrooms and online learning environments. I’ve worked with all types of learners, including students with ADHD, dyslexia tendencies, comprehension struggles, and those who just need extra encouragement. My teaching style is warm, patient, and highly supportive—I believe children thrive best when they feel safe, understood, and celebrated for their progress.

I absolutely love making lessons fun and memorable. Whether we’re decoding tricky words, building stronger sentences, strengthening vocabulary, or polishing writing skills, I break everything down into simple steps that actually make sense to children. I bring creativity, humor, and calm encouragement into every session so kids stay engaged and excited to learn.

Parents often tell me their child becomes more confident, motivated, and eager to read after working with me—often in just a few sessions. That spark of confidence is what I teach for.
