I have 2 years of tutoring experience with grade levels varying from 3rd grade all the way up to 8th grade. My main focus areas are English/Language Arts (all grades). I also have experience tutoring students with specific learning disabilities.
I like to work with the parent as well as the student with suggestions and concerns. It is a team effort to give a student a meaningful learning experience!
I have experience tutoring 3rd-8th grade students. I have completed the majority of an elementary/special education college program. I graduate in December of this year.
I was a great English student in high school. I have also taken certain classes to give me extra strength in teaching in these areas. The classes gave me strategies to implement with my students.
I have an excellent vocabulary and spelling stems from that. I also work with students on spelling using games, repetition exercises and other strategies that have shown success.
