Hi! I am a certified math teacher with a Master’s degree and nearly ten years of classroom experience teaching students from 4th grade through Calculus. Over the course of my career, I have taught remedial 4th and 5th grade math focused on targeted test preparation, 6th through 8th grade math (including honors sections), and high school courses including Algebra II, Precalculus, and Calculus. Teaching across this wide range of grade levels has given me a strong understanding of how math skills build over time, allowing me to quickly identify gaps and help students strengthen foundational concepts while mastering current material.

In addition to full-time classroom teaching, I have extensive experience working one-on-one and in small groups with students who need extra support or enrichment. My students consistently show measurable academic growth, and families often comment on how clearly and patiently I explain complex concepts. Whether I am helping a struggling learner rebuild confidence or supporting an advanced student preparing for higher-level coursework, I tailor each session to the individual student’s goals and learning style.

My tutoring approach focuses on clarity, organization, and helping students understand the “why” behind math rather than memorizing steps. I use interactive virtual tools, screen sharing, and guided practice to keep students engaged and actively thinking. I aim to create a calm, structured environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing true confidence in their abilities. I am available for virtual tutoring during weekday evenings and weekends and enjoy partnering with families to support long-term success.
