A passionate teacher and lifetime learner, I'm highly experienced in both classrooms and in one-on-one settings. Personally, I'm fascinated with foreign languages and cultures. To this end, I worked as a teacher while studying languages and education in Spain and in Taiwan. I'm also interested in music, health science, gaming, and cooking.

I've been tutoring ACT for several years, and I have helped countless students raise their scores and achieve their goals. I know the ACT inside and out! I thoroughly appreciate the process that students go through to build their skills for the test. I started ACT tutoring after earning the Oklahoma State Regents' Academic Scholarship for exceptional performance on the ACT (99.5 percentile).

I tutor Spanish classes of all levels. I enjoy tutoring AP Spanish, focusing on AP Spanish Language Test Prep!

I offer individual Spanish classes as well, specializing in intermediate Spanish (1-4 years of prior study) and Spanish conversation. I advocate practical instruction based on Communicative Language Teaching (CLT). People learn best when new language is given meaning through relatable real-life conversations, and through media such as stories, videos, and even songs. My own Spanish skills are certified with the highest level language diploma from Spain (Instituto Cervantes DELE- Nivel C2 [CEFR C2]).

Level up your Spanish with intensive, real-life language learning! I have great passion for the language, and many years of study and dedication. I studied Spanish Language Education at a graduate level while living and working in Alcalá de Henares, Spain. I offer individualized, fully planned Spanish classes, specializing in intermediate Spanish (1-4 years of prior study) and Spanish conversation. I strongly advocate practical instruction based on Communicative Language Teaching (CLT). People learn best when new language is given meaning through relatable, real-life conversations, and then through media such as stories, videos, and even somethings songs and poems. I also offer tutoring help for Spanish classes of all levels, including for beginning Spanish. I enjoy tutoring AP Spanish, and I’m highly apt in AP Spanish Language Test Prep and Spanish CLEP Test Prep, for both which I have a lot of materials and strategies! I can also teach Spanish ACTFL, NSE, ILCE, or Spanish Regents (NYS). My own Spanish skills are certified with the highest level language diploma given in Spain (Instituto Cervantes DELE- Nivel C2 [CEFR C2]).

Best teacher you could find!

Mr. Malcolm has been an outstanding Spanish tutor for my son over the past three years. When my son transferred to the private high school, he faced a steep learning curve in Spanish, having had no prior exposure to the language at the public school. We were fortunate to find Mr. Malcolm at that time, and his support has made an incredible difference. Mr. Malcolm is patient, encouraging, and highly skilled at tailoring his teaching to meet a student's specific needs. He helped our son build a solid foundation in Spanish grammar, vocabulary, and conversational skills, while also fostering a genuine interest in the language. His ability to break down complex topics and explain them clearly helped our son quickly catch up to his peers. Thanks to Mr. Malcolm’s guidance, our son not only earned an A+ in Spanish at school at the end of his Junior year, but also scored a 5 on the AP Spanish exam.
