I am currently a Bachelor of Science student in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Oklahoma, where I have built a strong foundation in mathematics, analytical thinking, and problem-solving. My academic background supports my ability to tutor math and science effectively, especially by breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps. I am fluent in both English and Turkish, which allows me to communicate clearly with a diverse group of students and families.

I currently work as a math and science tutor at Dove Virtual Academy, where I support students in understanding core concepts, completing assignments, and building confidence in their academic abilities. In this role, I work closely with students in a virtual learning environment and adapt my explanations to different learning styles and grade levels. In addition to my current tutoring position, I have experience supervising and teaching elementary students in after-school programs, assisting with homework, and serving as a volunteer assistant teacher and substitute teacher. These experiences have allowed me to work with students across a range of ages in classroom, small-group, and one-on-one settings.

My tutoring approach is patient, supportive, and student-centered. I focus on helping students truly understand the material rather than memorizing answers, and I encourage questions and active participation. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking for help and motivated to improve. Through my ongoing tutoring work and prior teaching experience, I have developed effective strategies to support students academically while also helping them build independence and problem-solving skills.
