I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from the University of Central Oklahoma and am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with an anticipated graduation in December 2024. My educational background has provided me with a strong foundation in pedagogy, curriculum development, and literacy education.

I have over three years of teaching experience working with various age groups and educational contexts. As a Gifted & Talented/Leadership Teacher, I designed and facilitated engaging lessons for students in grades 6–8. I used differentiated instruction and hands-on projects to meet the diverse needs of gifted learners.
I've also taught Pre-AP English I & II to freshmen and sophomores. In this role, I focused on enhancing students' analytical reading, writing, and language skills. I adapted lesson plans and assessments to support ELL/ESL and IEP students, ensuring that my teaching was inclusive and accessible. My experience includes classroom teaching, distance-learning instruction, and one-on-one support sessions to help students succeed.

I prioritize building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. My passion for education, combined with my ability to adapt to diverse learning contexts, makes me confident in my ability to provide effective tutoring in English and related subjects.
