My love of teaching comes from a tremendous desire to help young people pursue their dreams and overcome obstacles along the way. As a teacher of Mathematics for 25 years and AP Statistics for 14 years, I've had the pleasure of helping thousands of students realize their own potential and see their grades and test scores improve.

While I have taught almost all mathematics subjects during my teaching career, I believe that my strength is in teaching Statistics. I have been teaching AP Statistics since 2002, and currently serve as a reader for the AP Statistics exam each June. I also currently teach Statistics, College Algebra and Technical Trigonometry at the college level. I find teaching to be both rewarding and exciting.

I specialize in tutoring Math including, but not limited to, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Precalculus, and Statistics.

I am generally available every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and I can travel to students or meet them online. I look forward to hearing from you and helping you achieve success in your studies.

Awesome first time tutoring experience

My son was very much against tutoring feeling it would be a sign of weakness. Lynette did such a good job putting him at ease, building trust and getting right to work. Big smile after the first session!

AP statistics

My daughter thinks she is engaging and enjoys working with her. After a full day of school, soccer and homework, she has no problem rallying up for a AP statistic tutor session with Lynette. I think her response time and communication is excellent.

Very Efficient and Helpful

My daughter is taking AP Statistics and was having trouble understanding some of the concepts. At Lynette's suggestion, I sent her a list of topics that my daughter wanted her to discuss. She went over everything in one hour and my daughter understood it all. Outstanding!

Helpful and Effective

Throughout my lessons with Lynette, my knowledge in AP Statistics has significantly improved. The lessons are very helpful, as we review topics which are most challenging, effectively sorting out any difficult aspects of the unit. Lynette is very patient, and is always willing to help in gaining a comprehensive understanding of the subject. AP Statistics is a very difficult course, however, Lynette has helped me grow immensely as a student, and better understand statistics. Initially, tests in AP Statistics posed as an unsurmountable obstacle to me, however they have grown significantly easier, since the start of my lessons with Lynette. Our lessons always leave me feeling better about the topic which we had worked on, in addition to feeling positively overall, since Lynette is incredibly smart and kind.

Best Math Tutor Ever

Lynette has now been tutoring me for two college semesters, one for College Algebra and Trignometry and currently for Statistics, and in the future, she will be tutoring me for Pre-Calculus. Lynette is the sweetest and most thoughtful tutor I have ever had, she is also very patient when you are taking notes. She is very intelligent and has lots of knowledge to share in her field, you can never go wrong with choosing Lynette for a tutor. Thank you so much Lynette for everything.
