Hello! My name is Alexea, and I have several years of experience working closely with children through my roles as a nanny, household manager, and preschool assistant. For years, I have provided one-on-one academic support to elementary and middle school students, helping with reading comprehension, writing, spelling, homework, study habits, and overall school organization. A large part of my work has been making sure students feel supported not only academically, but emotionally as well, especially when school feels stressful or overwhelming.

As a nanny and household manager, I regularly helped students with daily homework, reading practice, writing assignments, test preparation, and building better study routines. I worked closely with families to support each child’s individual academic needs and learning style. My experience as a preschool assistant also gave me valuable classroom experience working with younger children on early learning skills, structure, routines, and creating a positive learning environment where they felt safe and encouraged to grow.

My tutoring approach is centered around patience, encouragement, and clear communication. I understand that every student learns differently, and I believe confidence plays a huge role in academic success. I focus on creating a calm, comfortable space where students feel confident asking questions and learning at their own pace.

My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but to help them build lasting confidence in themselves and their abilities. I am currently pursuing my four-year degree in environmental science, and I value education, lifelong learning, and helping others reach their full potential.
