¡Saludos! Greetings!
My name is Señorita Melissa, and I have been teaching Spanish for 26 years. I also have experience teaching ESL, English as a Second Language. I teach all levels of Spanish and English. I make learning fun, exciting and educational!

I enjoy working with students of all ages. My experience includes teaching at the elementary, middle school, high school and college levels. I hold a Master's Degree in Spanish Education from Ohio University, and I am a Certified Teacher. I have taught online and in-person.

I believe each student is unique and processes language learning at a different pace. I am accustomed to working with students who have a variety of learning styles including students who face learning challenges, such as learning disabilities. I have expensive experience working with Special Education students.

I specialize in teaching Spanish and English. I have studied Second Language Acquisition for many years, and I have learned a great deal on how people learn languages.

I employ the communicative approach method to language learning as well as traditional methods. I adapt my teaching style to meet the needs of my students and how they learn.

I use fun and engaging presentations, games and videos to facilitate language learning. I also encourage the practice of completing engaging and informative worksheets. I provide excellent feedback in a timely manner.
