I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management with a minor in Business Administration at Ohio Northern University, where I maintain a 4.0 GPA and rank at the top of my class. My studies have given me a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, engineering concepts, and project management. Outside the classroom, I’ve gained real-world experience through hands-on work in mechanical insulation—a trade that demands accuracy, problem-solving, and the ability to apply technical concepts in practical ways.
I’ve always enjoyed helping others understand challenging subjects. I began tutoring classmates in high school and continued through college, focusing on math, science, and construction-related topics. My approach is centered on making material relevant and approachable by connecting academic theories to real-life applications. I believe students learn best when they can see how what they’re studying applies beyond the classroom. I also focus on tailoring each lesson to the individual’s learning style, helping students gain both confidence and comprehension.
In addition to academics, I served as the captain of my high school lacrosse team, where I learned valuable leadership and communication skills that I now bring into tutoring. Leading a team taught me patience, motivation, and how to adapt to different personalities—qualities that directly translate to guiding students toward their goals. My mix of academic excellence, hands-on construction experience, and leadership through athletics allows me to connect with students on multiple levels and help them reach their full potential in a positive, engaging way.
