Hi, I'm Sophie! I am a graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in middle childhood education with a 3.6 cumulative GPA. I am a licensed teacher in the state of Ohio for grades 4-9 in English Language Arts and Mathematics. I have three years of teaching experience at the elementary level, as well as previous student teaching experience. I also have tutoring experience, working one on one with students in a public setting.
I am passionate about guiding students to become independent learners and successful leaders. Working with students has become a huge part of my life and I want to continue empowering this generation of children. I am a positive role model and I excel in creating a warm, positive learning environment.
I am easy to contact and work closely and professionally with the parents/guardians of all my students. I believe we are all on the same team, doing our best to support the children. With that being said, I plan to be very open about the work that I complete with your child and am open to your preferred resources.
