I recently graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Genetics and a minor in Bioethics. For the past three years, I’ve taught General Chemistry as a Teaching Assistant, primarily through weekly recitation sessions. In that role, I worked closely with students one-on-one and in small groups, helping them break down challenging concepts and build confidence. I always approach tutoring with empathy and encouragement; chemistry is tough, but I genuinely believe that with the right guidance and mindset, anyone can succeed.
I’m currently accepting students and am highly flexible with scheduling and where to meet. While I prefer in-person, I am also happy to work online. I scored a 522 on the MCAT, with section scores of 128 (C/P), 130 (CARS), 132 (B/B), and 132 (P/S). I’m especially well-suited to help students improve in Biology/Biochem and Psych/Soc, and I’ve developed effective strategies for tackling the CARS section as well. While C/P was my lowest section, I have extensive experience teaching general chemistry and have scored 130+ on C/P in practice exams.
Whether you're looking to strengthen content knowledge or build confidence, I am here to help! I offer section-specific strategies and personalized advice on how to study more efficiently and effectively.
