I scored a 522 on the MCAT in spring 2025 (128 C/P | 130 CARS | 132 B/B | 132 P/S). I also graduated spring 2025 from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in molecular genetics and a minor in bioethics. I began my M1 year in the summer of 2026.

During my time in undergrad, I found my passion for educating through being a general chemistry teaching assistant for three years. I found helping students with their specific gaps during office hours the most rewarding part of teaching, which led to me wanting to tutor the MCAT due to the opportunity to work one-on-one with students.

For most pre-med students, hard work isn't the bottleneck — everyone who's gotten this far has put in the effort. I focus on efficient study methods and building reasoning skills over perfecting content.

A student's first MCAT lesson with me typically entails a discussion on study and passage strategies, ending with a passage so I can make my initial recommendations. After our first lesson, we typically walk through passages together and continue to hone the passage strategies we discussed in our initial meeting.

I'm very flexible with scheduling — feel free to ask if I can meet outside my listed availability.

Approved Subjects

Biology

Biology

I exceled in introductory biology courses in undergrad. With my degree in molecular genetics, I will be especially helpful with the molecular side of biology. Additionally, my biology knowledge in other areas is helpful; I scored in the 100th percentile on the biological/biochemical section of the MCAT.
Chemistry

Chemistry

In undergrad I taught general chemistry 1 and 2 for three years. I mostly taught recitation, but I also taught lab. I have taught over 200 students in my time and have seen the common troubles students experience.
MCAT

MCAT

Scored a 522 MCAT (99th percentile) and have had 3 years of teaching experience as a general chemistry TA. My specific strengths are in B/B and P/S, in which I scored a 132 (100th percentile) on both sections.

Excellent Guidance for AAMC Full-Length Review

Kristian is an amazing tutor. He helped me better understand how to use AAMC resources to review my full-length exams by analyzing different tabs. This has made it much easier for me to track and review my scores. I also value his consistency and commitment to making sure I am doing my part in studying by teaching me effectively and providing structured study schedules.

great study Tools

Kristian is very good with working with me to tell me suggestions on where I should improve. His advice on how to improve on accuracy has helped me tremendously in c/p and b/b.

Great Instructor

Kristian is very patient and supportive. As a third-time test taker, he emphasized the importance of spending more time on practice questions to build accuracy and provided effective strategies for using UWorld. He also took the time to ask about my plans outside of the MCAT and reassured me that the complexity of the exam is manageable. Within just an hour, he made time to go over practice questions while still sharing valuable tips and strategies.
