Math Teacher Wanting To Make a Difference!

- Currently a high school math teacher; teaching Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Calculus.
- I am licensed to teach Math in grades 7-12.
- I have been tutoring for the past 3 years and have over 200 hours of experience. I not only tutor high school students; however, tutor a lot of middle school-aged and elementary students as well.

I like to make learning math fun. I try to do this by continuously relating the math we are doing to the world around them. I feel students learn best when they both respect the tutor (teacher) and can also make connections to the mathematics. Relating the mathematics to the real world, careers, etc. allows students to become more engaged in the math they are learning and as a result become more successful. I have found this to be very helpful in both tutoring and my own classroom.
