Spanish Native Speaker Expert in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language

Hello, I am Oscar M. from Ecuador (South America), I currently live in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have been happily married for 38 years, I have 2 adult children and two beautiful granddaughters. I am a Computer and Information Systems Engineer with over 30 years of experience. During my professional career at Icesa S.A. and due to my passion and love for teaching, I worked as an Algebra and Chemistry teacher for students applying to the National Polytechnic University. Then, for 6 years, I was a computer science professor at the Autonomous University of Quito, where I also served as the dean of the Faculty of Information Systems. Additionally, at Icesa, where I was the IT Manager, I had the opportunity to lead and execute the Training and Processes department, where I was a retail sales trainer, coach, and mentor to all the company staff.

Finally, when I decided to apply for residency in the USA, I obtained in Ecuador the Certification as a Spanish Teacher for foreigners and worked as a Spanish teacher at the Spanish Institute in Quito. I had the opportunity to teach Spanish to 2 English individuals, 2 Americans at three levels: basic, intermediate, and advanced. And one person from Japan, this was a great experience because the natural communication was the teaching of Spanish; I didn't speak Japanese and he didn't speak English, this person got certified at A2 in Spanish.

I finally had the opportunity to teach Spanish online remotely from Ecuador to all the staff of Grosso University, which is a Sales School in Wisconsin. With them, I certified 2 students at level B2 and 4 students at level B1. I am currently conducting Spanish tutoring remotely from Cincinnati for the new employees of Grosso University. I am convinced that all my experience and my passion for teaching this beautiful language can contribute to helping my students achieve their goals and objectives in learning Spanish.
