After earning a bachelor's degree in Secondary Biology Education in 2005, I have spent 15 of the past 18 years teaching in a variety of settings. After earning a bachelor's degree in Secondary Biology Education in 2005, I have spent 15 of the past 18 years teaching in a variety of settings. I have taught overseas as a foreign English teacher, special education aide, and college adjunct. I have taught in the United States as a high school teacher and as a college instructor at community colleges and 4-year institutions. In the three years I was not teaching, I earned my master’s degree in immunobiology. Since then, I have continued to pursue additional graduate-level education (online education courses with Liberty University , science courses/research at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, and biostatistics-related courses with the University of Louisville) when I have had the opportunity.
