Hi! I’m Holly! I just recently graduated from high school. This fall, I will be attending Bowling Green State University to study Music Education. I am passionate about helping students build confidence in their abilities and achieve their academic and music goals. Throughout high school, I developed strong communication and leaderships skills through tutoring, mentoring, and music education experiences, and I enjoy creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as they learn.

During my junior year, I began tutoring students in grades 3-8 at Inspiring Minds in Warren. In this role, I assisted students with their homework, reading, writing, study skills, and other academic subjects. I enjoyed helping students understand challenging concepts by breaking them down into smaller, more manageable steps and adapting my teaching style to fit each student’s individual needs. My goal is to help students complete assignments but also to help them develop the confidence and problem-solving skills needed for long-term success.

In addition to academic tutoring, I have experience teaching private flute lessons to students in grades 5-10. As a musician, I have served as section leader and have participated in numerous honor ensembles and music programs. I strive to make lessons engaging, encouraging, and personalized to each student’s goals and experience level.
