I hold a Master’s degree in Education and a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Mathematics, which have provided me with a strong foundation in both pedagogy and mathematical content. Over the years, I’ve taught a wide range of high school math courses in Ohio, including Ohio Math 3 and Math 4, as well as Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Trigonometry. My certification and academic background have allowed me to design instruction that is both rigorous and accessible, tailored to meet the diverse needs of students across multiple grade levels.
With more than a decade of teaching experience, I’ve worked primarily with students in grades 9 through 12 in traditional classroom settings, as well as in one-on-one tutoring environments. My approach emphasizes conceptual understanding, real-world application, and building mathematical confidence through differentiated instruction and inquiry-based learning. I’m especially known for helping lower-level students feel comfortable and confident in mathematics—something I attribute to my ability to build rapport, create a supportive learning atmosphere, and break down complex ideas into manageable steps. Whether working with students who struggle or those seeking enrichment, I strive to make math feel approachable and meaningful. My goal is always to foster a space where students feel safe to ask questions, take risks, and grow as learners.
