Hello! I am a recent graduate from the University of Toledo. I majored in biochemistry with a concentration in premed. I graduated summa cum lade, which is just a fancy way to say I graduated with a 4.0 GPA. I'm incredibly proud of myself for doing that! Hello! I am a recent graduate from the University of Toledo. I majored in biochemistry with a concentration in premed. I graduated summa cum lade, which is just a fancy way to say I graduated with a 4.0 GPA. I'm incredibly proud of myself for doing that! I received all A's in my science classes ranging from general chemistry all the way up to graduate level chemistry courses that I took. So I can tutor almost every chemistry class offered at UT, the one exception would be pchem. I absolutely love chemistry, so I am currently pursuing that passion in grad school at BGSU. I am getting my master's degree in Forensic Science with a concentration in chemistry!
I tutored while doing my undergrad work for the University of Toledo at the Learning Enhancement Center. I tutored for 3 years where I gained valuable experience working with diverse groups of students in a wide variety of chemistry classes. I have learned how to break down complex problems into simple steps that I can guide a student through. I am able to effectively communicate concepts to students and ensure they understand the concepts behind the problem. I absolutely love seeing a student make connections between concepts and the problems. It is an honor to help a student in a class and be able to make their chemistry experience a little better. I know how it feels to be lost or not understand what is going on, and I love to be that person to pull them through and make chemistry a little less painful.
As I've mentioned before, I have taken nearly all of the science classes available at UT. I received all A's which has allowed me to excel in tutoring these courses and concepts to students in a very effective manner. I also listed ACT science as a subject I am able to tutor. I actually received a composite score of 32 on my ACT, where I received a 35 in the science section and a 33 in the STEM section.
I am incredibly excited to make an impact on a student's life, whether it is helping them get a better grad or just helping them understand a concept
