Bio

I am licensed through the state of Ohio as a Substitute Teacher and have experience teaching K-8 as well as 12-22 year olds with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I have a bachelors degree from the University of Toledo where I spent two years as an English major writing for the Independent College before graduating with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am currently in graduate school for Applied Behavior Analysis to work specifically with the autistic population.

With two years of experience as a copy-editor, I am proficient in grammar rules and devices. As a licensed substitute teacher, I have taught lessons on grammar. I often utilize song to assist younger children in learning grammar rules.

I have taken college level courses in literature such as Shakespeare and American Literature. As a licensed substitute teacher, I have experience teaching in the area of literature. I often utilize study guides and timelines to assist students in this area.
