Hello scholars and families! My name is Ms. Amy M. and have been a Middle School (grades 4th-9th) Language Arts and Social Studies teacher since 2009.

I'm willing to tutor in Science and Math also. This school year I am the Site Coordinator of our afterschool program and am tutoring a homebound student twice a week. That tutoring assignment will most likely be done in September. But, outside of my afterschool assignment and tutoring, I have several hours in the week in which I can help...

I'm also willing to drive up to 30 miles to meet in a library.

I spent the years of age 8 through 18 as a softball player. I was able to play most positions over the years, but settled onto the pitcher's mound. After high school, I did help coach for a few seasons. I have played on 3 adult teams at one time as well. I believe that I have not only the love of the game, but also the knowledge and drive. I am pursuing a Master's in Athletic Directorship as well.

Very patient

My grandson was very happy about learning, not nervous or bored, he seems to be happy about learning new tricks to help him remember things. She put my grandson at ease and he was happy about learning.

Great tutor!

My son has autism and ADHD and thanks to Amy's kind, patient, and focused approach he has significantly improved his reading and math skills this summer. I think his teachers will be surprised when he returns to school this year. I'd recommend her to anyone!
