In this position I work with adults with disabilities and asset with their job search. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and have worked in various types of education settings. With all of my experience though, I prefer to work with students that are usually deemed 'at-risk' or in need of 'intervention'. I worked extensively with the Boys and Girls Club of Wayne Co (Indiana) and highly enjoyed it's alternative education department, as well as worked in a preschool that specialized in special needs and behavioral issues.
When it comes to teaching and learning, I pride myself in my ability to bring fun and creativity to the process. It is important to understand the learner and their their learning style, and cater to their needs when learning new skills.
