Hello, I’m Mikayla! I am a recently graduated college student with a Bachelor’s degree in English, a concentration in Writing, and a near fluency in Spanish. As such, I am well experienced and able to help others become knowledgeable (and comfortable in their knowledge of) English as a written language, English as a spoken language, literature, and Spanish (as a written and spoken language as well). I also have a deep driven passion for English and for language, reading, and writing. Working with students on these things is enjoyable and not a chore for me at all. I love to share my knowledge of these things with others.
I have spent a bit over a year tutoring younger children (the youngest being second grade, the oldest being a freshman in high school) in all subjects, but I do my best in the aforementioned subjects. I also am more than happy and willing to help with writing and editing papers. It is important to me that students not only learn, but learn in an environment that is welcoming and comfortable. Education should not be scary, it should be liberating, and that is what I strive to offer.

Eight university level classes (six credits shy of a Spanish minor that I plan on obtaining in the future anyhow)
Intermediate knowledge of the Spanish language
I tested out of three levels of Spanish classes in college
