I'm Brinn! I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Virginia Tech in 2024. I received my BS in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience as well as a minor in Leadership and Social Change. I am currently pursuing my MBA at Baldwin Wallace University. Through my completion of courses such as cognitive neuroscience, human development, mechanisms of learning and memory, neuroscience and society, principles of peer leadership, and so much more, I have developed a keen understanding of encouraging students to learn. I love working with children and have spent the last 10 years of my academic career tutoring peers at my high school and college institutions. I have 2 years of official tutoring experience with students in elementary school.

My desire to help others learn stems from my fascination with the brain. My favorite quote is by Albert Einstein and it reads, "Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid." I am passionate about studying neuroscience, as I believe understanding our own mind is the key to unlocking any of life's challenges! I am passionate about using a student's strengths to their advantage. I specialize in developing reading, writing, public speaking, and math skills. I have worked with students who have ADHD, ODD, and Dyslexia.
