I have over 20 years of experience as an Intervention Specialist, working in both the Resource Room and Inclusion Setting, where I have supported children with various disabilities, including autism, ADHD, and mental health or behavioral challenges. In addition to my work in special education, I have taught ESL classes to children and adults for 10 years and have also taught high school-level English, History, and Psychology/Sociology. As an educator, I pride myself on being consistent, patient, kind, and engaging, always meeting students where they are and setting high expectations while providing the necessary support using a variety of techniques. I am equipped to tutor reading, phonics, writing, ESL, history, and social sciences at all levels, as well as math for grades K-4 and social sciences at the high school and university levels.
