Hi! My name is Tala, and I’m currently a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) student. Hi! My name is Tala, and I’m currently a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) student. I have over five years of experience studying university-level topics like pharmacology, anatomy, physiology, chemistry, and biology. I’ve also done really well in writing and reading analysis throughout school. On top of that, I’m great with younger students and know how to connect with them to make learning feel simple and less overwhelming.
While my background is strong, what really makes a difference in my tutoring is how I explain things clearly and in a way that actually makes sense. I always adjust my style based on how each student learns best. I want students to feel supported and encouraged while building the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
I work with students from kindergarten through college. For college students, I tutor general and organic chemistry, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, pathophysiology, and pre-pharmacy prep, including application help. For younger students, I can tutor English, math, science, reading, and help with essay writing and college applications.
During lessons, we’ll go through the topic together, work on examples, make helpful connections, and use active recall to lock in the material. I’m very flexible with how I teach and how we schedule things, and I’m happy to adjust whatever’s needed.
I’m always open to feedback or extra resources if it helps my students succeed. I’m easy to reach and quick to respond. Feel free to message me if you have any questions or want to set up a session!
