Bio

I am a student at Youngstown State University, for a second time. I received my B.A. in 2015 in Applied Linguistics-Language Acquisition and Italian language. This time at the university I am focusing on the Spanish language. I am self taught primarily in Japanese however during the summer of 2012 (from March to August) I studied abroad in Nagasaki, Japan in order to improve my Japanese language competency.

I love language and language acquisition and am excited to help others!

I have studied Japanese as a 2nd language for over ten years. I studied abroad in Nagasaki, Japan between April and August of 2012. While there I tested into the 5th level of Japanese (of which 8 is the max) and have done translation and interpreting both in Japan and out.

With more than a decade of tutoring experience I have learned that the best way to learn languages is to combine grammar/vocabulary study with real conversations focusing on the students' interests.
