I've been teaching adult learners for several years through the Wilmington Institute for Lifelong Learning.
I started with film, and now use digital, and can help you use either. I specialize in "straight" photography. I use several different kinds of software to improve my raw digital information, but I do not merge several photos together or alter what I saw in front of the camera. I can help you get as much out of your camera as possible, whether you have a point-and-shoot or a DSLR, by helping you discover what you want your pictures to convey and showing you how to pay attention to light, composition, motion, and exposure. I can also help you understand the software you choose to "process" your images in the computer after you've made them with your camera.
We can also talk about how to store your images, and how to use them. I can help you make prints, photo books, slide shows, or upload your images to a photo site.
