Following high school, I attended the University of Findlay (Findlay, Ohio) where I worked towards earning my degree in Adolescent/Young Adult Math Education and a degree in Pure Math. During my time there, I was President of the University of Findlay's Ohio Education Association, started the honorary society Kappa Delta Pi, and was a member of the Euler Math Society. I also worked as a student assistant in the math department and mainly graded papers for college math classes and also tutored area high school students.

I have been actively tutoring students for over 12 years and have been a high school math teacher for 8 years. During that time, I have taught Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Applied Math, (College Credit) Pre-Calculus, and (College Credit) Calculus. I honestly can say I have taught it all (minus Geometry) in the last decade. To be certified to teach college math classes at my high school, I did earn my Master's in Math Education from Western Governors University.

I love teaching and I love I get to do it every single day. I truly enjoy helping students understand and gain that confidence as they start to understand information. I would love to help, so get a hold of me!

With all the different courses I teach, it all uses the basis of algebra on a daily basis. Thanks to those many different courses, I have a strong understanding of algebra. Additionally, I have an undergraduate degree in Pure Mathematics and a master's degree in math education. Per the State of Ohio, I am considered highly qualified in math.
