Hey there!
My name is Olivia, and I am a registered nurse who specializes in medical/surgical and psych nursing. I have worked in the hospital setting for over 10 years and have been a nurse for 5 years. I am certified in medical/surgical or "acute care" nursing, obtained clinical ladder 3 status, and obtained two daisy award nominations in this area. Precepting and training new employees was an active part of this job. Currently I am working as an RN at an outpatient setting in the psychiatric specialty. I have an associate and bachelor's degree in nursing and have level II Reiki certification. I am a former college instructor and taught in concentrations including standards of patient care and EKG interpretation. I am an active volunteer for the Ohio Wildlife Center and former volunteer for the American Red Cross as a disaster service RN. The areas I tutor in are listed below. My focus is nursing and science related subjects in high school and college level students.

Recently, I have been embracing vegetarian and vegan cooking, and have had multiple nutrition clients ask me how to cook this food. It is a lighter, cleaner option that I want to share with you.

Understanding elementary math is something I have taught to my sisters and their peers when they needed help several times. This is a building block of knowledge for me also because in order to understand more complex problems- you first have to understand elementary math problems.
