Hello! My name is Matt S., and I am a certified teacher in the subjects of high school and middle school physics, chemistry and physical science. I graduated Cum Laude from Bowling Green State University with a degree in the same, where I also took some classes focusing on astronomy. Professionally, I have been a classroom teacher for 5+ years and have taught all of the above subjects, in addition to environmental science.

I love learning and teaching the physical sciences, as they give us a way to explore and understand the world around us. Tutoring gives me an opportunity to give more detailed explanations and have more in depth discussions, as well as help students who are struggling or would like more enrichment. I also allow a more individualized learning experience, where each learner's interests and strengths can be tailored to.

As I mentioned above, I am a fully qualified teacher in the state of Ohio, and have a wealth of experience teaching each of the subjects I am tutoring. I have an immense amount of patience for those who are learning. Everybody learns at their own pace, and trying to force information to a learner rarely works out. I've utilized a variety of styles in my teaching, from lecture, to discussions, to hands-on experiences, to technological integration. I have experience with a wide variety of learners, and will fully accept them for who they are and what they need.
