I contacted Rey for help with college-level General Chemistry 2 and came into the session feeling very lost and overwhelmed about how to tackle the content from my huge lecture-style chemistry class. I needed help with both practice problems as well as with core chemistry concepts, and Rey did a fantastic job of explaining them. I cannot put this lightly, he explained things so swiftly and in a way that made difficult content seem so feasible and approachable. There were things that took me months to learn, things I didn't even know, and cloudy concepts, that all got cleared just from my first one hour session. I was very anti-tutoring and pro wanting to figure it out myself, but if there is one thing I wish I would have done, it is sign up for tutoring with Rey earlier. Truly, his explanations restored my motivation for chemistry, because it feels so much more palpable. He is super quick to respond and very responsive to any help you may need, highly reccomend.

Amazing chemistry tutor
Rey and I went over a multitude of chemistry topics including (but not limited to) kinetics, concentration equilibrium, and acid/bases. He presents his material in an extremely digestible and concise manner, making sure that you are covering all necessary information while not overwhelming you. You can tell he takes the time to cater to each of his students and truly values their continued learning based off of his general positive attitude, the information he provides before each session, and his willingness to look for external resources in order to help you. I went into the majority of our sessions extremely confused and unable to answer any questions pertaining to the topic, and left with a well rounded understanding as well as the ability to answer the questions that I previously could not. If you are looking for a short term or long term chemistry tutor, Rey is absolutely fantastic. He is extremely knowledgable, patient, and truly values your understanding as a student.

My daughter is taking the SAT this week. Rey reviewed my daughter over geometry and trig. She said he explained things very well and was very positive. She does really well in school, but hated trig. I wish I would have looked him up during school. This system of tutoring works really well. My son is finishing up his college degree. We will continue to schedule with Rey as needed.

Incredible Chemistry Tutor
Rey is such a a great tutor! I am currently taking an introductory college chemistry course and was really struggling understanding the material. However during our first tutoring session I sent him material from my class and he completely tailored the tutoring session to best address my needs and is able to explain very tricky concepts into something that is easy to understand and digestible. He is also super nice and energetic and makes chemistry enjoyable to learn! 10/10 tutor!

Ray worked through a variety of Acid-Base Chemistry questions in preparation for my son upcoming high school chemistry honor test. He initially struggled with identifying conjugate acid-base pairs, setting up ICE tables, and applying equilibrium concepts to pH calculations.
