My experience has prepared me to continually adjust my explanations and pace to match the level of a student.
In response to the COVID pandemic, I began teaching my (in-person) classes through Teams/Zoom using my Ipad, and I've continued this practice since then. I've also regularly held on-line office hours, so I have a lot of experience working with students online, both individually and in groups. I have a BA (graduating Magna Cum Laude and with a 4.0 gpa in math classes), an MA, and a Ph.D. in mathematics, and I've taught over 20 different college mathematics courses throughout my career. Teaching mathematics is my passion, and I consistently work to present illuminating examples and to explain complicated mathematical concepts in ways that are easier for students to understand.
