Hello! I'm Megan and I'm a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensed in Ohio with over 25 years experience working with clients and students of all ages. I hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and have worked in health care, research, home health, and private practice. I am currently a university faculty member supervising and instructing graduate students preparing to become SLPs. In this role, I teach graduate students so I have extensive experience in adult learning principles and in supporting students in a variety of areas. As a member of the admissions committee, I review student applications and conduct interviews for graduate program entry. I am also a published author of research articles, a clinical textbook, both of which primarily focused on interventions and supports for persons with dementia, and a book chapter focused on medical SLP, specifically working in the home health care setting. This experience allows me to assist students in written expression skills and in the editing process. I am a regular presenter on the national, state and local levels and teach continuing education courses for professionals so I'd love to help you in preparing and presenting engaging and informative courses for learners.

I believe in meeting each student where they are and capitalizing on their strengths. As a rehabilitation professional, I am highly skilled at evaluating and breaking down skills to identify abilities and develop an individualized plan to foster progress and success. My approach to teaching and learning is that it first and foremost should be meaningful, engaging and fun!

If you're looking for executive functioning support, application, interview, or presentation coaching, or are an undergraduate/graduate SLP student in search of tutoring on course or clinical concepts or SLP Praxis prep, I'm here for you! Need help with that personal statement or college essays? Let's talk! Looking forward to working with you!
