I am a native Spanish speaker from Cuba currently living in Cincinnati, Ohio. Spanish is my first language, and I have several years of experience teaching Spanish to students of different ages, backgrounds, and proficiency levels.

I graduated from the University of Virginia and also earned my master’s degree from the University of Valencia in Spain. In addition, I have traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe, and other parts of the world, which has allowed me to experience many different Spanish-speaking cultures and dialects firsthand.

I began teaching Spanish shortly after graduating from college and became even more passionate about language instruction during the pandemic. Since then, I have worked with children, professionals, healthcare workers, travelers, and students who simply want to feel more confident speaking Spanish in real-life situations.

My teaching style goes beyond grammar and vocabulary. I focus on creating an engaging and immersive learning environment where students learn how Spanish is actually spoken in everyday life. I use a variety of resources, including custom lessons I create myself, interactive activities, conversation practice, cultural topics, and real-world examples tailored to each student’s goals—whether for school, business, travel, or personal growth.

I also collaborate with other Spanish teachers and educators to continuously bring fresh ideas, resources, and fun learning experiences into my classes.
