I completed my Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology and have earned permanent licensure as a speech language pathologist. My degree requires various clinical rotations. I have worked with children on their speech and various aspects of language during every rotation! Additionally, I have had upwards of five years in tutoring experience.

My main goal is helping students to improve their grade and gain a better understanding for the topic in which they struggle. I want you to be the person who finds school enjoyable!

As a native Russian language speaker myself, I sympathize with the challenges that ESL learners face. Given my background, I feel I am a very good ESL teacher because I understand the difficulties behind learning a second language. Additionally, as a Speech Language Pathologist, a huge part of my speciality it teaching clients appropriate oral and written grammar, as well as reading and comprehension.

Part of school speech pathology (especially in schools) is teaching children letter/sound recognition and providing extra support with this task based on how the classroom teacher provides instruction.
In my experience, children tend to memorize sight words but have trouble reading because there is a lack of sound-letter awareness.

Finally, I have experience as a writing consultant. I am able to help students write, edit, and proofread their work to ensure it flows in a concise and coherent fashion. Additionally, I offer services with college applications and essays.
