Hi, I'm Robin. I have a Bachelor's degree in Physics with a minor in math from the University of Akron. I also have 5 years of graduate work in Optical Sciences in the College of Optical Sciences, at the University of Arizona. I have several years of teaching experience, both in a one-on-one setting as a tutor for high school and college students, and in a classroom setting teaching college level math, optics, and physics as a teaching assistant. I also have experience working in optics...

Very knowledgeable and patient
Robin is my 10th grade daughter’s AP physics tutor . She just needed a different approach than her classroom teacher was giving her. Robin has been the perfect fit for her

Great l!
My daughter loves his tutoring sessions. She said he’s clear, knowledgeable and patient. I definitely recommend him as a tutor. Wish we found him earlier in the school year.

Robin is a physics wizard
I've had a lot of sessions with Robin and only just realized I'd never left a proper review! Robin has an incredibly direct and strategic approach when it comes to problem solving. He's super well-versed in formulas and lays out every step of a problem on the white board, (always beginning with a picture, writing the knowns and unknowns, and then writing down the appropriate formulas needed for the heavy lifting/calculations). I also appreciate his quick inclination to refer to himself as "Beavis" whenever he makes a small mistake (which is always corrected with incredible speed haha). I can tell his brain operates at a speed I would pay a large some of money to obtain. You can't go wrong with Robin when it comes to physics! He seems to live and breathe it and I'm so grateful for his help! My biggest tip for new students is to sign onto your session 15 minutes early and screen shot all of your problems onto the white board, (one problem per page is usually best unless it's a multiple sequence question). it will save you a TON of time and I know the tutors really appreciate it!

Very helpful
Robin has been working with my son, who's a high school senior taking AP physics. Robin's very responsive and my son enjoys working with him and finds the sessions very helpful.

Physics
Robin was a good tutor, but he doesn’t teach the same way than my daughter learns in NY school, so my daughter said she was a little confused. Thank you anyway for your time.

Knowledgeable and Effective
My daughter has had 2 sessions with Robin. He was not only great at explaining how to solve a physics problem but also came up with additonal problems to help my daughter solidify challenging concepts.

Knowledgeable and thorough
Robin is always available when I need him. He provides sound information and is very patient. Calc 2 is a little easier when he is around. This is my 2nd semester with him and I see no end in sight.
