Catherine is both a nurse and a true teacher
I wholeheartedly recommend Catherine to be your nursing tutor! I had a test on Diabetes to study for, and there were so many details to it that I was getting lost in the weeds. I signed up for a session with Catherine. I wrote out a ton of questions ahead of time, and she answered all of them. She has a really clear way of explaining things. I think that's the big thing nursing students need--we just need the material to be presented clearly. Catherine has a knack for that. She's a real teacher. Some nursing instructors are great nurses but unfortunately not the greatest teachers. Catherine is both a nurse and a true teacher. She knows the methods and principles of good teaching. So glad I found her. I went into the test feeling confident. I got a 90 on my test!!! That was after failing a previous test with a 72! I didn't have Catherine's help with that previous test. Just studied on my own. To go from a 72 to a 90 was amazing! What a great feeling! I credit Catherine for that. Looking forward to my next session with her! Thank you, Catherine!

Dosage Calculations
I’ve had a great experience working with Catherine M. for help with dosage calculations. She has been patient, knowledgeable, and very helpful in making concepts that can sometimes feel overwhelming much easier to understand. I really appreciate the way she takes the time to explain the calculations and makes sure I understand how to work through the problems instead of simply giving me an answer. Thus far, working with Catherine has helped me feel more comfortable and confident with dosage calculations. She is supportive, encouraging, and easy to work with, which makes the learning process much less stressful. Catherine is super helpful and super knowledgeable. And super kind too. Whatever I bring to her, she knows how to help me with it and knows how to translate it into nursing language. There is always something that can be related back to nursing or science and she knows exactly how to integrate it. Right now she's helping me with evolution and she teaches it just as well as my professor does. She can go in on each slide and explain what everything is. Learning a lot.
I feel real comfortable with my tutor. I'm learning a lot from her. The only thing is she needs to slow down because I can't take all the information in at once especially when I never took this class before. Everything I'm learning is all new to me. I know I need to do a lot more work so I'm prepared when we meet. I can't take all that information at once. But overall I think she is excellent tutor and very educated.
