I am a licensed educator with dual degrees in Education and Ohio teaching licenses in both Early Childhood Education (Pre-K–3) and Special Education (K–12). I have over 10 years of tutoring experience working with students from preschool through college and have spent the past six years as a full-time Intervention Specialist supporting students with diverse learning needs.

My experience includes public school teaching, private tutoring, and community-based educational programs. I am passionate about creating engaging, individualized lessons that build confidence, foster curiosity, and help students develop a love of learning. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every child can succeed when provided with the right support, encouragement, and instructional strategies.

To continue growing as an educator, I have completed additional coursework in reading instruction and earned certification in the Orton-Gillingham approach. This evidence-based, multisensory method allows me to provide hands-on instruction tailored to each student’s unique learning style. I carefully assess students’ strengths and areas for growth to develop personalized learning plans that maximize progress and engagement.

My background in Special Education has equipped me to work successfully with students who have a variety of learning differences, including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and language disorders. I am experienced in adapting instruction, implementing accommodations, and helping students develop both academic skills and self-confidence.

In addition to literacy instruction, I have extensive experience teaching mathematics across multiple grade levels. I have tutored elementary through high school students in math and provide support in ACT and SAT preparation, including math instruction and test-taking strategies. My goal is not only to improve academic performance but also to help students become confident, independent learners equipped for long-term success.
