Hello, I’m Stephanie! My nursing journey began in 2006 when I graduated with my ADN. Driven by a passion for the field, I returned to school to complete my BSN in 2016 and discovered a deep love for teaching. This led me to achieve a Master’s in Education in 2021, followed by my Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2025. In addition to my degrees, I hold a Certification in Pediatric Nursing (CPN) and a Critical Thinking Certification. I am also experienced in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and Crucial Conversations, holding certifications in both areas.
For the past five years, I have been teaching both clinical and classroom sessions part-time at a local college. When I am teaching, I strive to create a safe environment where students feel free to innovate, dream, and ask questions. I believe that fostering this type of environment is essential for building a trusting relationship between a student and a professor. In my experience, students perform their best when they have the chance to challenge the “why,” and I will never shame a student for wanting a deeper understanding.
I believe that effective teaching goes beyond the four walls of a classroom. By connecting lessons to everyday reality, I find that students are better able to grasp and retain complex concepts. All of my lessons can be modified to meet your specific needs. The nursing field is growing rapidly, and I want to support my future fellow nurses in taking that next step toward their goals. I am here to help you succeed and eventually take your own seat at the table to make a change in the world of nursing. Please reach out to set up a time, and feel free to upload any PowerPoints or PDFs you are having trouble with so we can dive in. Let’s schedule a lesson!
