Welcome! I’m Jennifer, a Certified Academic Language Therapist and your partner in building strong, confident readers. I completed my training through the Fundamental Learning Center in Wichita, Kansas, where I developed expertise in structured literacy and evidence-based reading intervention for students with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences.
I bring over 6 years of experience as the Director of a neuropsychology reading clinic, where I also provided one-on-one instruction in reading, spelling, and writing. My background in behavioral science and experience as a speech-language pathologist assistant allow me to support the whole learner, understanding both the academic and emotional impact of reading challenges.
My instruction is rooted in structured literacy and multisensory approaches, including Orton-Gillingham. I specialize in helping students build skills in phonemic awareness, decoding, fluency, and written expression through highly individualized, explicit, and systematic instruction.
I have helped many students progress from below grade level to meeting or exceeding expectations, while also building confidence and a more positive relationship with learning.
